Wined, Dined, and Read Blog Tour!

I'm way late on this. But my awesome ABFF Renee invited me on her Wined and Dined Blog tour a few weeks ago and I finally got around to finishing my blog post.

Food for Thought:

If your main character were a glass of wine, which one would they be?

Razia would be a dark and tannin-rich Cabernet Franc that punches you in the face from the first sip, then grows on you as you get used to the flavor. Then you just crave that earthy twang in every glass.

Describe your book in one meal

You're sitting in a restaurant and you can smell deliciousness, but there's a 40 minute wait. Once you sit down you realize you've forgotten your credit card and you have to pay in cash, of which you only have $20, so you have to settle for the cheapest appetizer. But oh, you'll be back.

What candy would your book be?

Warheads - five minutes of pain for a moment of sweetness.

What does your book smell like?

Sterile, then fresh air of an undiscovered planet, as well as the dusty desert of D-882.

Your book’s snack would be:

I have no idea! I really don't. Maybe a Cliff Bar because those are the kinds of things she eats when she's planet excavating

About You:

Describe your most memorable meal:

It's wasn't a meal, per say. I had a $75 bottle of wine that I got as part of a wine of the month club. I held onto it for a "special" occasion, thinking that sometime in the next six months there would be a diamond involved. Well that didn't happen, so I took the bottle home to drink with my best friend. We never got around to it, so back to Virginia it went. There were two or three guys that I was going to share it with during my dating period, but every time I went to drink it with them, they disappeared.

So finally, one Thursday night I was eating turkey tacos and I said, "Fuck it. This bottle is going tonight.

And let me tell you - best bottle I ever had.

One food word to describe your writing style:

Crunchy

What will someone find you eating/drinking when you’re really into a good book?

Red wine usually

Sweet or Salty?

Both

I'm not going to tag anyone specifically for this blog post because I've got fifteen folks in the wings who are going to be taking over my blog post in the next month or so.

Stay tuned for more on #FallfortheIndieBook2014!
