I just wanted to pop in for a hot second before I headed out to GMU Geek Week and let y'all know that I have a BRAND NEW SHORT STORY (yes another one) featuring everybody's favorite diamond-snatching pirate, Sage Teon.
As before, I'm posting the four parts over the next four weeks on Wattpad, and once it's complete, I'll move the entire thing over to Smashwords as a free download*.
This short story takes place starting in Chapter Fourteen of Double Life, just after Razia captures the infamous Santos Journot. Sage finds himself in a pickle when Dissident gives him an ultimatum: if the feisty female bounty hunter is captured, she's out of the web. So Sage has to make sure that she doesn't get in trouble - without her knowing.
This one is extra super fun because it ties directly into Double Life, and all the things that Lyssa doesn't see behind the scenes. And also, it's a little bit more of that Sage-Lyssa-one-sided-love-dynamic that I love SO much. I gotta throw you romance-lovers a bone every once in a while.
Also: Easter Eggs Liek Whoa.
