Thanks so much for hosting me this week! These features have been so much fun and I'm looking forward to the week!
Okay, onward to questions:

The X-Files, or Buffy, or preferably both, you'll love An Absence of Light! Really, I think so :) (Hope so... ;)
Your main character is stuck on an island*
What 3 things do they bring?*
~Leah would bring food (and lots of it), her laser/Shadow killer tool just in case, and books. She's pretty studious, though we don't see that a ton in this book because she's kind of occupied elsewhere, with, ya know, saving the world and all.
How long do they survive?*
~Leah's pretty scrappy (or so I've been told) and also pretty ingenious. I think she'd be pretty set for a good long time!
What do you tell yourself before you start writing?
~Seriously, stay off the internet! Especially the time-suck that is Pinterest!
Look to your left, what's there?
~A few blown glass pieces I made over the summer. An orb and a pretty bowl.
How long ago did you finish eating it?
~Hah! I'm not terribly fond of eating glass. Well, unless I was hungry enough I guess....
Why did you write your book?
~This book kind of popped out of nowhere. I needed to chill for a few minutes and sat down to my computer while in between projects, and all of a sudden Leah was driving down the freeway, running from something. I had to write the book to figure out what :)
How do you handle receiving reviews?
~Well, that depends. Good reviews pretty much always make my day, but some days I'm definitely better at shaking off the bad ones than others. I often have to remind myself that not everyone likes the same kind of book and the world would be a whole heck of a lot more boring if we did!How do you relax?
~What is this thing, 'relax'? I haven't had a spare moment for as long as I can remember. Yay for lack of sleep and lots and lots of caffein!

What is your favorite book?
~It's not easy picking a favorite, but one of them is definitely A Wrinkle In Time, by Madeline L'Engle.
